Hi

I have never used commuicator before, and one of our customers has
said that one of his customers asked him to install Communicator 2007
Trial.

When he tries to login he gets the error 'Cannot sign in because
server is temporarily unavailable'

Well, of course, there is no 'Communicator Server software' on their
own SBS 2003 Server, so:

a) Is this intended for using entirely within your own organisation,
or
b) Could this customer provide a login and IP details to allow them to
use their Communicator Server?
I noticed in the client options there is a page to add a remote IP
address, hence the question

Thanks for your advice
Neil

Communicator is simply one of the clients for Office Communications
Server (OCS). Without OCS, Communicator is pretty near useless.

If you have an AD account in the other company, sure. But otherwise no.
